Gender Prediction Test (the ring test)

Read This.. Ok so this is what is most commonly known as “The Ring Test”. It is an old wives tale that is freakishly accurate. You don’t have to use a ring, just anything on a chain. This is what you do.. Hold the ring/pendant over your LEFT palm as steady as you can. Once it stops wobbling it will start moving in either circles or swinging (back and forth/side to side). Circles mean girl and swinging means boy. It will go through every pregnancy you have had/will have, and predict the gender of each child. It will include miscarriages, terminations, children already born and children you will have in the future. It will pause between each one and then just stop when it’s finished. You wont mistake the wobbles from an unsteady hand for the cirlces or swinging as they will be obvious. So mine went back and forth – boy, side to side – boy, big circles – girl. I have 2 boys already and plan to have another baby in the future. So, so far it has been correct. Everyone I know that has done this test it has worked for. :-P PS) It may look like my arm is moving to make the chain move but I definately tried to keep it as still as I could. It looks like it is moving because of the motion of the necklace hanging from my finger and also because I am breathing, heart beating etc. Also this video is speeded up. And it doesn’t work on boys or your right hand. Have fun :-)

it is just because i wanted to make sure the camera could see the necklace, i didnt realise until after recording that it had chopped my top hand off.

it means you are doing a good job at trying to be scientific!…. is bub out yet do we have a result?

i think by your limited testing its a girl, i would say do swinging over belly when u are actually pregnant- this test is for all babies (and i hear when u r not pregnant)

LOVe your testing on blokes! (men) good job!

ps how can u tie it to a stationary ojbect? stationary implies no movement!

  3. cilstr says:

its common to mis carry and not know about it….

I just tried this and it works. I showed it to my coworkers and they did it too and it worked for them too. Thats really crazy how that works

  7. theHullabaLoos says:

how does it show if your having a miscarraige or terminnation?

  8. Fishroy69 says:

It worked for us…two girls and a boy so far with another due in Feb 2010…it’s a boy. We did it twice with identical results and a heavy pendant that seemed to swing of it’s own accord.

  9. sweetestsin71 says:

i read back and forth for a girl and circle for boy

  10. dd575757 says:

so what if it swings then pause then circles dose that mean your having a baby with both sex origins lol jokes

  11. sle1984 says:

hehe. actually when it pauses that’s when it’s done telling you what your first baby is…if it pauses and then starts up again..it’s telling you the gender of your 2nd baby! and so on and so forth. mine went on 4 times and then it stopped completly…good luck!

  12. mssynne says:

umm whoever gets told this this lady was wrong ive done the ring test and me and a few of my friends have done it and shes got the swinging part and circling part wrong.
it circles for a boy and swings for a girl. ive got a boy and 2 girls and mine circled for my son but swung for both my girls and im now pregnant again and its circling. ive been to a person who does this as well and she told me

    circles for boys
    swings for girls

@BJHope03 i am 20 weeks prego and i have a 1 year old boy… so i did the test ..it made the same sequence as urs..back and forth (which is my first boy) then stopped then went sideways (which i think the baby im carrying)…is that test right…i did an ultrasound when i was 14 weeks pregnant and the doctor said maybe its a girl and i had no miscarriages before …so what do u think…have i made the ultrasound a bit early… or is the string test more accurate or what?

mine was right for my daughter..it went in circles..just did for my 3rd im 18 weeks..and it says boy we’ll see lol.

  20. fernopino says:

the ring test said id have six kids girl boy girl boy girl boy so far i have one girl and i am pregnant

  21. 84Roz says:

@fernopino it could just be ‘girl boy’ but got a bit carried away and did it 3 times, lol :)

  22. 84Roz says:

@omar732009 hi there! ultrasounds are generally quite accurate from around 16 weeks. it is possible your scan was too early but i think it is probably more reliable than the ring test as this is just an old wives tale – not 100% accurate. however if someone were to stand by the ring test they would tell you that people often have miscarriages before they even realise they are pregnant – they get their period without ever knowing. however, i think this is quite unlikely! :)

  23. 84Roz says:

@omar732009 so i would say go with your scan but remember that most sonographers refuse to gender check before 16wks as it is very hard to see clearly before then. good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

  24. omar732009 says:

    hi dear
I’ve just returned from my 3D Scan ….and its a BOY…your test is correct :) am 22 weeks prego…and the doctor told me he was cooperating :) he showed us clearly…u know yesterday i tried the pencil test hanging over my belly…counterclock wise means boy ..clockwise means girl….mine went counter clockwise…AMAZING isnt it :) ))

  25. 84Roz says:

@omar732009 oh wow! thanks for letting me know that – how cool!! :D it is amazing – it does the same for me every single time I try it :) congrats on your lil boy – hope the rest of your pregnancy goes fast; bet you and his big brother cant wait to meet him! :) x

  26. Im sure that this is a little bit of too much type on one case of intelli gender…..and Mine predicted correctly!
