If conceiving a boy is 50% chance then how come this couple has 6 girls and no boys?

I know these couples who had 6 kids, all of them are girls and no boys. Seriously what’s up with that? I read that male sperms die sooner but swims faster and female sperms live longer but swims slower, so maybe that has something to do with it?
The poor guy has been trying a bunch of times to get a boy, but they keep coming up as a girl. I feel so sorry for him …

My wife is one of four sisters. It’s not really that uncommon if you think about it. In fact, if you have two children, odds are 50% of having two children of the same sex. So if you have exactly four children like in my wife’s family, the odds of having four children of the same sex is one in eight. Not nearly as low as you might think. In a family of six children, the odds go up so that one in 32 families of that size will all have the same sex.
When I was a kid, we had neighbors with nine children. All were boys. We thought it was remarkable. I have computed the odds of having nine children of the same sex as being one in 256 families of nine children. So statistically speaking, having six girls is unusual, but not rare.
males determine the sex because males can donate both an X chromosome or Y chromosome, while females can only donate an X chromosome to their offspring so you need to drop your bo.
They also had a 50% chance of having a girl…
The odds don’t change the second time around. (or the third, or the fourth..)
Um don’t feel that sorry for him, he has kids, which is a lot more than a lot of people… and he just happens to have hit the 50% side for girls each time, nothing unusual, just bad luck, or good luck depending on which view point you take…. try adopting if someone has a gender preference
Its like the same way that when you flip a coin for heads or tails, 50%
So its like you call heads (for girls) and it comes up heads 6 times in a row, the next time you might get tails (a Boy) you just never know.
They needs to have sex early in ovulation. This will increase the changes of a male child.
If you flip a coin 50 times the odds are no different for each flip. You can still get a strung of 20 heads with no tails.
